American society of anesthesiologists proposal
I worked as the designer on this Public and Professional Awareness Campaign (Part 1) proposal for the American Society of Anesthesiologists while working at Reingold. This proposal focuses on messaging on the quality of care patients receive from a physician, as the research revealed this was overwhelmingly more important to voters and policymakers than reducing costs, a centerpiece of the nurses’ argument in support of independent practice.
Research shows in this proposal, a 10-to-1 preference for a physician over a nurse in medical emergencies, so we pushed ASA members to share their unassailable personal stories, showing how their advanced education and training improved quality of care and saved lives in the operating room. In the proposal, it breaks down how ASA and Reingold has done outreach, relevant case studies, and to gather an understanding on the main objective of public and professional awareness on this subject.
